Have up to nine virtual desktops
Even if you're lucky enough to have a 1280x1024 desktop on a 21-inch monitor, sometimes it's still not enough working space. This well-crafted utility can divide your workspace into as many as nine virtual desktops. You switch between desktops using combinations of four different control methods: a floating toolbar; a system tray-based taskbar; shortcuts (on the desktop, in the Start menu, or for IE4/Win98 users, in the Quick Launch bar); or hotkeys. Arrange your applications using the intuitive drag-and-drop interface of the Arrange dialog. Each virtual desktop has its own taskbar, but all taskbars share the same tray, so all tray icons are always visible. You can configure each virtual desktop with a title and hotkey. In addition, each desktop can be set up to exclude the taskbar and/or the desktop -- plus all desktops can be individually password-protected. You can use this unregistered version nag-free for 31 days. After 31 days, it's still usable, but you'll start seeing registration reminders.. Reviewed on Sep 12 1998.
